Cohousing CURANT is een initiatief waarbij stad en OCMW Antwerpen jongeren minstens een jaar laten cohousen onder een dak met een erkende vluchteling of subsidiair beschermde jongere die zonder ouders in België is (tussen de 17 en 22 jaar). Recent zijn ze met een nieuw project gekomen, genaamd ‘BREM 16’, waarbij woningen worden gebouwd voor 16 nieuwe duo’s.
Door het samenhuizen met een leeftijdsgenoot (buddy) en intensieve begeleiding wil de stad de integratie van jonge nieuwkomers verbeteren.
